- Every architectural decision is expensive to reverse, and a weak senior hire compounds fast in a hardware environment.
- You need engineers who’ve done the deep R&D and also shipped real products under hardware constraints, and they’re not the ones answering job ads.
- Your product is gaining traction, but commercial leadership is thin and the founders are still carrying the go-to-market load.
- You’re crossing from R&D to production, or early traction to scale, and the technical and commercial calls now have long-term consequences.
- You’ve used recruiters who don’t understand embedded or regulated environments, and treat an engineering hire and a commercial hire as the same job.
How I work
I work with founders, CEOs and CTOs building hardware-led deep-tech in Sweden, from seed to early Series B. If that's you, some of this will sound familiar:
My approach
I selectively take on 3-5 clients per quarter. That’s what makes real headhunting possible, and it’s why I’ll turn down a role that isn’t right rather than send you a list to look busy.
It starts with a call to understand your product, the system constraints, what the role has to deliver, and the cost of getting it wrong. If it’s a fit, I scope the search and we agree terms. Then I work my network and referrals directly, run thorough first-stage interviews with every candidate, and bring back a small shortlist of people according to your expectations. I stay in it through interviews, feedback, references, and the offer, closing the loop properly on both sides.
On permanent searches, signed mandate to accepted offer averages 23 days. Fractional hires close in 5 days.
I stand behind every hire with a 100% success rate guarantee.
Who I'm not for
- Pure software or AI-only companies, with no physical product or embedded systems.
- Companies that aren’t willing to spend more than 15 minutes on a call, and think a job description tells the whole story.
- Anyone who wants a quick CV drop from multiple agencies to fill a seat.
