About

When a senior hire can make or break your next stage, you want to know who's actually running the search, and why their judgment is worth trusting. So, here's my story.

I spent nine years in recruitment before Djup. The early years were high-volume contract work globally for large technology companies. It was fast and I did well at it, but it kept me at arm’s length from the people I placed. In 2019, I moved into the Swedish R&D market with a hardware focus, and the work clicked. I invested in relationships and prioritised adding value over quick wins.

That patience is why the network is what it is now. People I placed as engineers in 2019 are the leaders building shippable systems today. I’ve watched them grow into the exact roles I now recruit for, so when I call on your behalf, it’s a conversation between people who already know each other, about a problem worth their time.

The reason I went solo was simple: freedom to choose who I take on, spending my time with founders and senior candidates rather than in internal meetings, and only bringing companies into my network that I believe in. For you, that means my introductions carry weight.

The niche is harder to sell than SaaS or generic apps, and that’s the point. The founders I work with could have built something with shorter R&D and sales cycles and faster money. They chose hardware because they want the work to matter, whether that’s safer roads or medical tools that reach people at scale. That pulls in engineers and leaders who care about the same things, and it makes the right hire easier to land once you understand what actually moves them.

If you’re building something hard in Swedish deep-tech and the next hire is one you can’t afford to get wrong, that’s the work I do. Let’s talk.
